What is Naturopathic Medicine?
Naturopathic medicine is an extension of conventional medical care, which combines the science of evidence-based medicine with the art of patient centered, humanistic healthcare.
Naturopathic doctors are primary-care practitioners who practice a preventative approach to medicine, but also work to identify and treat the root cause of disease ultimately supporting the body’s inherent ability to heal. We are well integrated with medical doctors, surgeons and specialists to ensure the best treatment method is prescribed and referrals are made when necessary.
Naturopathic doctors promote a complete wellness plan tailored to your individual needs by taking into consideration that health is equal to the sum of its parts; the biological, psychological and social elements characteristic to you, looking beyond the obvious symptoms, are essential to finding and treating the root cause for disease imbalance.

Welcome to your new future of healthcare!
As your Naturopathic Doctor I look forward to working with you to help you achieve all of your health goals. I have a passion for living well and I believe you deserve the time and education you require in learning to be your best self and live the life you desire. I will help you reach your health goals, overcome hurdles in your healthcare and reestablish balance, energy and joy in your everyday living!
Health and wellness have always been a passion of mine; from fitness and sports to cooking and nutrition, the ‘study’ of wellness has always been my top priority. This passion and love for medicine led me to completing a five year premedical undergraduate honours degree in Biochemistry and Business from the University of Waterloo. I later went on to complete my four-year naturopathic medical degree from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine as well as two rigorous North American wide entry-to-practice exams and an additional set of provincial licensing board exams.
I am board-certified in Naturopathic Medicine by the College of Naturopaths of Ontario and have been running a private family based practice for patients of all ages and health levels for the past 6 years. I welcome you to the world of better healthcare and a healthier you! Alternative medicine will be the medicine of tomorrow and I am working hard towards becoming an integral part of that future, today.

My Approach
My approach to your healthcare assessment, diagnosis and treatment will be individualized to you; your past and present medical history, family history, current health concerns as well as a complete physical examination will form the basis for treatment. Treatments may include clinical nutrition, neutraceuticals, supplementation, botanical medicine, hydrotherapy, homeopathic medicine, physical treatment, acupuncture, traditional Chinese medicine and diet and lifestyle counselling. Initial appointments are 60 minutes and provide a foundation from which future treatments will be directed.
Follow-up appointments are 30-60 minutes in duration and offer continuity of care and the opportunity for patient education and discussion as well as physical treatment, if required.
